USLS-VSO SHARE to Host PVF Volleyball Referees Congress

The University of St. La Salle-Varsity Sports Office, SHARE will play host once again for the Philippine Volleyball Federation Referees Congress on February 24, 25 and 26, 2012 at USLS in Bacolod City.

The congress will be held on the said dates to coincide with the holding of the annual Park Volley Festival. This congress is being held every two years as per requirement of the world governing body of volleyball, the FIVB.

Volleyball referees from Iloilo, Capiz, Antique, Aklan, Guimaras, Negros Oriental and Negros Occidental can benefit in this congress for their accreditations.

Nestor Bello and Marvin Trinidad, the two FIVB accredited international referees are coming as accreditors/evaluators in the said congress. Also joining them are former PVF President Pete Mendoza and currently PVF head Gener Dungo.

Each participant is required to pay P2, 500 registration fees to include rule book, case book, identification document (ID) and entitled for three lunch.

4634. WHAT’S IN THE IGLESIA NI CRISTO. Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) in the Locale of Tangub and other locales in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, are inviting the public to their ‘Pamamahayag’, during which they will present the teachings and doctrines of the INC. The Pamamahayag will be held at 7PM on Monday January 9 and on Tuesday 10 at the Tangub chapel and in other locale chapels. Those interested to listen can just come and be guests.
