Bacolaodiat Festival in Full Swing
As the City of Smiles awaits the majestic year of the dragon, the Bacolaodiat Board ushers the celebration of the Chinese New Year by bringing the Bacolaodiat Festival at the Lacson Tourism and North Capitol Road on Jan. 20-22 and at the New Government Center on Jan. 23.
A parade of mascots and the Chinese zodiac animals will be held at the North Capitol Road at 4pm, as food stalls in the Chopsticks alley continue to satisfy the Chinese food cravings of the guests.
The Canon Night Photography Contest will be held at 5pm both for interested professional and amateur photographers in the city.
GMA Bacolod will be bringing premium entertainment as they will be bringing in celebrities for the Kapuso Night at 5:30pm. The students from St. John’s Institute will be showcasing their talents as they present traditional and contemporary performances during the SJI Night at the Pepsi Stage by 7pm to be followed by the Pepsi Night at 9pm.

The spectacle of fireworks will continue to drive away the bad spirits as the Symphony of Lights and Sparks continue for its 2nd night at 8:30pm to be followed by the Live Band featured by the Purefoods Night at the North Capitol Road.
Another set of events are prepared especially for the Pinoys and Tsinoys alike by the Bacolaodiat Committee for Sunday and Monday.
