Local News: Drug Peddler Busted In Silay

An alleged drug peddler was arrested by operatives of Silay City Police, Sunday afternoon during the conduct of buy bust operation.

Police report said, Almer Dumrique alias Botoy, 40, of Matagoy Exterior, Brgy. Rizal was apprehended by PO3 Rayjay Rebadomia for alleged violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Seized from the suspect were the following; one small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, 3 small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, P200 marked bills and P1,450.00 cash believed to be proceeds from selling the illegal drugs.
The suspect is presently detained for further examination and filing of criminal charges against him.*
