Sports: Ceres, Dynamic ‘Preview Match’ Sunday in 2012 NFL

Pride and prestige will be above else when last year’s 3rd Conference champion Ceres Football Club and two-time conference champions Dynamic Builder will face each other in the second match Sunday, February 5 in the 2012 1st Conference North Football League of Yanson Group of Bus Companies (YGBC) at the Ayala North Point football pitch in Talisay City.

Sunday’s match-up will be the preview of the championship match of the two teams last December in the 3rd Conference NFL where Ceres FC defeated Dynamic Builder, 2-1 in a hotly contested match. But it was a 9-A-side and the ongoing tournament is a regular 11-player tournament.

“Expect another hotly contested match where every game counts,” tournament director Ramon Janeo disclose.

The match-up between Ceres FC and Dynamic Builder will be preceded with the schedule match of Real Negrense and Las Buenas 1:30PM. Trimaxi-Agro and Minulu-an Talisay followed in the main game at 5:30PM.

Last Sunday Ceres, Dynamic and Real Negrense won their respective matches against separate opponents.

Dynamic Builder defeated Las Buenas, 7-0; Real Negrense won over Trimaxi-Agro, 11-3 and Ceres FC beat Talisay-Minuluan, 4-1.

Tournament commissioner Ramon Janeo said that the matches will be held every Sunday and the first conference to end in April. The second conference will start in May and end in August, with the third conference in September and ends in December.

He said these football tournaments will wake up the awareness of every Negrense to the game.* (CMG)
