To ensure the stability of its distribution lines, Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) will conduct line maintenance activities on the following schedules:

Date: February 8, 2012 - Wednesday
Time: 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN

Reason:

  • Conversion of 5-span from V-phase to 3-phase primary line from Dela Rama Street to Milabo Street, Barangay Lag-asan, Bago City

Areas affected:

HF3 Crossing Ubay, Hda. Pili, Brgy. Pacol, Brgy. Bagroy, Brgy. Sagasa, Brgy. Caridad, Brgy. Allanza, Brgy. Don Jorge Araneta (Central Ma-ao)

Date: February 11, 2012 - Saturday
Time: 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Reason:

  • Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS) and degassification of Sum-ag 5 MVA power transformer
  • Load shifting of Sum-ag Feeder 1 to Calumanggan Feeder 2 at Sum-ag Substation, Sum-ag, Bacolod City and at Purok Maghiliugyon, Sum-ag, Bacolod City
  • Replacement of rotten primary poles at Km 18, Km 19, Abuanan Road, Brgy. Abuanan, Bago City

Reason:

  • Transfer of primary lateral from Alijis Feeder 1 (AF1) to Alijis Feeder 4 (AF4) of Lopues South Square (Transcom) along Araneta Street, Bacolod City

Areas affected:

AF1 TRANSCOM only

Affected member-consumers are advised to turn-off their electrical switch/es during the said power interruption for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
