Business: Solar Power Plant Up in Murcia

A solar plant put up by South Korean investors is now supplying electricity to a building in Barangay Blumentritt in Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Businessman Roberto “Bobby” Montelibano, Regional Governor of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) said Apple Korea’s prototype of a solar power unit is now powering his office building in Murcia town.
Montelibano, who owns PRISM, said with the unit, he now gets powere from two sources one is from the Central Negros Electric Cooperative (CENECO).
The solar power unit supplying his building with 2,500 watts of electricity is also a demo unit for those who may want to utilize the clean and environtment-friendly power source.*
