True to their commitment upon the culmination of Jam Step 21212, the Children of Bacolod together with Congressman Anthony Rolando “Doc Tony” T. Golez, Jr. and Ang Batang Pinoy Movement headed by Msy Jewel May Lobaton-Pimentel, donated 10,000 Magnolia Purewater to the children of the Gui-hulngan earthquake victims. There were ten thousand students who, after joining the Jam Step for 30 minutes and endured at least two hours of waiting, still managed to overcome thirst and decided to donate their ration of mineral water to the children of the said tragedy.

Jam Step 21212 participants were represented by staff and members of the Office of Cong. Doc Tony Golez who delivered the boxes of water through the assistance of the 303rd Infantry Battalion under Lt. Col. Oscar Lactao, to Guihulngan, Negros Oriental on Valentine’s Day, two days after Jamstep-ping their way to the Guinness World Records.

The donation was turned over to the Office of Civil Defense who endorsed the goods to the DOH represented by the Program Coordinator of Health Emergency Management, Dr. Expedito Medal-la and DSWD Region 7 Representative Edna Regudo.

“I am so proud of the children of Bacolod for volunteering their share of water to help the victims of Guihulngan earthquake,” said Cong. Doc Tony. He also said “empowering the children to become positive influencers of our society, young as they are, would inspire the other children to be achievers and leaders someday. This is indeed a true mark of modern day heroes.” Also present during the turnover were the staffs of the Office of Cong. Doc Tony Golez: Jenny Golez, Alma Calingo, Joann Jimena, Brgy. Taculing Kagawad Julius Tamayo, and other supporters of Jam Step 21212 Nori Rebadomia,

Narding Pagunsan, Neil Guillaran, Edcil Yasay and Edward Sumpay.*
