Events: CENECO Holds Annual Bloodletting Activity
Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) once again conducted its 3rd Bloodletting Activity last February 16, 2012, from 8 AM-12 NN at the 3rd Floor Annex Building, CENECO Compound, corner Mabini-Gonzaga Streets, Bacolod City.
A total of 47 qualified donors successfully met the requirements and donated their blood. CENECO BOD President Atty. Arnel L. Lapore, Vice President Michael S. Maravilla and Director Roberto L. Montelibano also showed their support to the said activity.
The activity, which started year 2010, serves as an annual representation for CENECO in its involvement to the national campaign of promoting public health with the aim of providing safe blood to the country through its active role in advocacy, promote voluntary blood donation, donor retention, and care and operation of a network of 74 Blood Service Facilities all over the country.
The activity, in accordance with the Blood Program of the Philippines with the provisions of the National Blood Services Act of 1994 or commonly known as Republic Act 7719, was made possible through the cooperation of the Philippine Red Cross, headed by Dr. Babylin Drilon, M.D. and team leader Kenneth Parrocho.
The 3rd Bloodletting Activity, with the full support of Management, headed by GM Sulpicio C. Lagarde, Jr., was facilitated by Ms. Lilibeth Gadian, Head of the Personnel Services Section.* (The Management)
