Events: USLS Reveals Diamond Jubilee Theme
The theme for the Diamond Jubilee of the University of St. La Salle (USLS) was finally been chosen after 144 entries have been screened.
The theme, “Transforming Lives, Building Communities, Shaping Futures,” crafted by senior Mass Communications student Kamille Borromeo, bested other entries submitted by alumni, students, faculty and staff in the theme-making contest conducted last January 18 to February 1.
Borromeo’s theme emerged as the best choice for its relevance, creativity and rhythm, sensory appeal and impact.
She will receive a cash prize of P10,000 and a certificate. All entrants will also be given certificates of appreciation for their participation in the contest.
The theme will be used as a basis for the upcoming logo design contest also in line with the celebration of the Diamond Jubilee.
The contest is open to all bona fide students, faculty, staff and alumni of the University, and may be joined by two persons only.
The winners will receive a total of P15,000 cash prize. The logo design contest started on February 21 to last until March 9.*
