Sports: Dynamic, Ceres Eye Titular Showdown Anew in NFL
With one game remaining on Sunday, both Dynamic Builder Football Club and Ceres Transport Liner FC are gearing for a titular showdown anew as they repulse their respective opponents last Sunday in the second round elimination of the 2012 1st Conference North Football League of Yanson Group of Bus Companies held at Ayala North Point football pitch in Talisay City.
Dynamic Builder FC was so dominant in their match against the Talisaynon with skipper Ali Go scored four goals in the 6-0 beating of Minuluan-Talisay by scoring in 6th, 22nd, 24th and 38 minute as teammates Jaime Poderoso and Hemerson Campo join him in 9th and 30 minute, respectively.
It was Dynamic eight wins against a loss in this 6-team cast football tournament. They are facing unpredictable Trimaxi–Agro (6-3) in the last second round elimination match on Sunday, April 1.
Meanwhile, Ceres Transport FC soars to its seven wins against two loses by beating Real Negrense FC, 3-1. Real Negrense absorbed its fifth loses against four wins and is facing Minuluan-Talisay this coming Sunday, April 1.
Eliseo Palomo ignited Ceres Liner first two goals in the 5th and 13th minute, before playing-team manager Leo Rey Yanson hit in the 30th minute. Real Negrense’s Luis Clauor scored for his team in the 50th but too late to even the score.
Ceres Transport will face Las Buenas FC (1-7) on Sunday.
On the other hand, Trimaxi Agro- FC escaped from Las Buenas, 4-3 to come close at third place in the standing and battle Dynamic in their last game on Sunday.
Both team exchange scoring with Trimaxi’s Troy Fegidero hit the initial goal in the 6th minute, but Las Buenas’ Del Castillo responded in the 45th minute. Archie Bayquin and Alonzo scored successively in the 45th and 49th minute respectively for Trimaxi, but Las Buenas responded with also two successive goals with Roderick Tijing and Marson De la Torre in the 55th and 65th minute, however, Alejandro Montelibano sealed the game in the 76th minute for Trimaxi-Agro.
The top four teams will advance to the crossover semifinals and the No. 1 team to have a privilege of choosing its opponents, according to tournament commissioner Ramon Janeo.*
