Sports: City Heights Basketball Tournament Opens Sunday
The 4th Isidoro Jimenez III Memorial Basketball Tournament sponsored by the City Heights Athletic Club will formally open on Sunday, April 15 at 2:00 pm. Fifteen teams are participating, namely: AA Electrical, Flomont, Ceres, Motoliance, Focus, VAX, CHAC, DON, Convergys, WLST, Consuelo, Doña Juliana, Europa, Simisimi, and CAS.
The games will be played at the CHAC Basketball Covered Court which sports a new fiberglass board, an electronic scoreboard and a newly painted basketball court.
All players must be in proper uniforms on opening day and each team must have their muses. Cash gift will be given to the Muse of the Tournament. There will also be a "shoot out" with P5,000.00 cash. The opening ceremonies will be covered live on TV.

Dynamic Chooses Real Negrense in NFL Crossover Semis
Top team Dynamic Builder Football Club chose Real Negrense FC as its opponent in the crossover semifinals on Sunday, April 15 in the 2012 1st Conference North Football League of Yanson Group of Bus Companies football tournament held at Ayala North Point pitch in Talisay City.
Sporting a 9-1 win loss card, Dynamic Builder opted for No. 4 team Real Negrense (5-5) as easy to beat than No. 2 team Ceres Transport FC (7-3) and No. 3 team Trimaxi-Agro (6-4).
Ceres Transport and Trimaxi-Agro will meet in the first match at 2pm; then Dynamic Builder and Real Negrense at 4pm.
The winners will battle for the title on April 22, 2012, while the losers to settle for runner-up finish.
It is expected that the odds highly favored Dynamic Builder and Ceres Transport to prevail over their opponents to again renew their head-on collision for the title in this regular 11-man football tournament.
Dynamic Builder claims the first two conferences last year when the tournament was still a 9-A-side tourney. Ceres Transport prevented Dynamic for a grand slam after beating the latter for the title in the 3rd Conference.
