The New Democratic Front (NDF)-Negros commends its red commanders and fighters for its reported strength despite military campaigns and operations during the celebration of the 43rd anniversary of the New People’s Army (NPA) last March 29, 2012.
In a statement to NDB, Ka Frank Fernandez, NDF-Negros spokesperson expressed the view that the organization is commending the red fighters for the implementation of the tasks ordered by the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and the Filipino people in order to advance the armed revolution towards strategic stalemate against US imperialism, feudalism and bureaucrat capitalism.
Fernandez added that they salute the revolutionary martyrs who offered their lives in line of battle and urge them to continue their standpoint in the advancement of the cause. However, if grave errors will be committed in contrast to the principles set forth, this will mean setbacks for the revolutionary forces just like what happened in the 1980s on the wrong line of military adventurism, urban insurrection and admission of defeat.
Fernandez said that the "advance of the revolutionary war bannering the line of the liberation and development of the forces of production against comprador bourgeoise and landlords as agents of US imperialism will truly succeed. In the near future, the people will reap the victory of the completion of the national democratic revolution."
The NDF spokesman also considers the militant celebration of its anniversary as an occasion of great significance.
"The NPA is tempered, strengthened and has accumulated gains despite fascist and brutal military campaigns by past and present US puppet regimes’ series of AFP and PNP operation" he said, adding that "the basic truth is the NPA’s uphold revolutionary plans, principles, line, strategy and tactics that were outlined and made clear by the CPP, as means to continue the armed revolution.
On the other hand, if grave errors will be committed, this means setbacks for the revolutionary forces just what happed in the 1980s, the wrong line of military adventurism, urban insurrection, reformism and capitalism," Ka Frank further disclosed in the press release.*
