Sports: PFF, Talisay Summer Football Caravan Unfold Today

The 2-day Philippine Football Federation in partnership with Talisay City and Minulu-an Talisay City Football Club Summer Football Caravan will unfold today until tomorrow, April 18 in two separate venues to be held simultaneously at Carlos Hilado Memorial State College (CHMSC) and Talisay City football field.

Eight categories will be contested; the 8–under, 12-under, 16-under boys, and U-16 girls to be played today, while the 10-under, 14-under boys’, 18-under boys and ladies open tomorrow.

The 8-under format will be 4 vs. 4 without the goal keeper; 7 vs. 7 for 12-under, 16-under boys’ and U-16 girls.

The 10-under format will be 6 vs. 6; and 7 vs. 7 for 14-under boys’, 18-under boys’ and ladies open.

The teams that join this tournament are Southbridge-Manila, Makati Forza, Foundation University-Dumaguete, Don Bosco Technical Institute-Victorias, Angelicum-Iloilo, Westbridge-Iloilo, St. John’s Football Club, St. Scholastica’s Academy Football Club, Wildfox Football Club, Buenvista Football Club, Bago City football Club, Rizal Elementary School Football Club, Magallon United Football Club, Isabela United Football Club, Rising Star Football Club, Minulu-an-Talisay FC, Sagay City FC and First Pick FC.

Each team was assured to play a minimum of four matches in the elimination.

Registration and assembly of participants will be at 7 to 8 am on playing days.

This tournament is bankrolled by Minulu-an-Talisay headed by Rafael "Junie" T.Lizares, Jr., in partnership with Talisay City government under City Mayor Dr. Eric Saratan.* (CMGarde)
