To ensure the stability of its distribution lines, Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) will conduct line maintenance activities on the following schedule:

Date: April 21, 2012 - Saturday

Time: 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN

Reason:

  •  Stringing, armoring of 1 - span / 3 phase primary line and tapping of line extension serving Baronesa Metal to Alijis Feeder 5
  •  Tree trimming covering area of Alijis Feeders no. 4, 5, and 6

Areas affected:

AF4 Back of Alijis Substation, (Oriental & Motolite, A1 Gas, Viva, Alijis Road (from Alijis Substation to Airport Terminal), Bacolod Memorial Park, Asian Alcohol, Sasson Furniture, Jade Court II, VL Yap, Good Year and Teletech (Robinsons Metro)

AF5 From Alijis Substation to CENECO Power Plant, from CENECO Power Plant to May Quiachon, Garces Subd., dead end of primary line at Taculing Elementary School

AF6 Mabini St. (from Libertad to San Sebastian St. including portion of Rosario St.), Bacolod City National High School, City Heights, BAC-UP 6, Espinos Village, Puentebella

Subd., Rosario Heights, BM ACMA, Bakyas, JJ Gonzaga, CERES Motorpool, P & NB Subd., portion of Mansilingan, Brgy. Vista Alegre and BACIWA Vista Alegre Pumping Station

Affected member-consumers are advised to turn-off their electrical switch/es during the said power interruption for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge. Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) in the Locale of Tangub and other locales in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, are inviting the public to their ‘Pamamahayag’, during which they will present the teachings and doctrines of the INC. The Pamamahayag will be held at 7PM on Monday January 9 and on Tuesday 10 at the Tangub chapel and in other locale chapels. Those interested to listen can just come and be guests.
