Local News: Another Woman Falls in Buy Bust
Following the arrest and filing of charges against two women in Bacolod City for illegal drug violation, another woman was busted about 3PM, yesterday in Brgy. Handumanan for the same.
PSupt. Santiago Y. Rapiz, City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (CAIDSOTG) and Special Operations Group head along with his operatives arrested Erica Celiz, 28, of Purok San Roque, Brgy. Handumanan for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Seized from her were; a small plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, P1,800 cash believed to be proceeds from the illegal trade, P500 marked bills, 2 cellular phones, 2 pairs of scissors, one disposable lighter and a tube of Canesten cream.
She is presently detained and is being investigated by police probers and may face possible charges in court.
Meanwhile, Cesar Conlu alias Pali, 35, of Villa Hergon Subd., Brgy. Rizal in Silay City was apprehended by SPO1 Rayjay Rebadomia during the conduct of buy bust operation, Wednesday morning.
Recovered from Conlu were; one small heat-sealed plastic sachet containing suspected shabu handed to a poseur buyer, 8 pieces of small sachets containing the same suspected drugs and P250 marked bills.
The suspect is also detained at Silay City Police Station for further probe.* (RRM)
