Local News: Cops Collar ‘Lascivious Actor’

A 35-year old resident of Brgy. Bata in Bacolod City was arrested by members of the Special Operations Group (SOG) at about 6:30 PM, Thursday at his residence.

PSupt. Santiago Y. Rapiz, SOG chief revealed that Willard Aquino, of Purok Marapara 2, Brgy. Bata was apprehended for the crime of lasciviousness conduct under Section 5, committing the act of sexual intercourse conduct with a child exploited in prostitution or subject to other sexual abuse of Republic Act 7610, or an act providing for stronger deterrence and special protection against child abuse, exploitation and discrimination.

Aquino’s arrest was effected through a warrant in criminal case number 12-36096 issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 41 Judge Ray Alan T. Drilon on April 10, 2012.

The bail is set at P200,000 for his temporary release.

The suspect is presently detained at Police Station 3 (PS3) and will be endorsed to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) facility.*
