InterAksyon.com editor-in-chief Roby Alampay, who is also senior manager for new media at TV5, and MMDA director for traffic Yves Gonzales received the trophy during a ceremony held at the Ayala Museum, in Makati City, Friday night.
TNAV was introduced in June 2011 to service commuters and motorists in the easiest way possible by presenting the traffic situation in Metro Manila’s major thoroughfares in a graphically logical and pleasing format.
TNAV was designed and programmed by the team of Stray Interactive, led by Ninoy Leyran. It is the sixth award for InterAksyon.com, which was added to TV5’s platforms just a year ago.
Earlier, InterAksyon.com won the Anvil Award of Merit in the Internet Website category; Boomerang Awards also for the TNAV; the Quill Award for Excellence; the Media in Migration Journalism Award for its reportage on labor migration issues; and the Cyberpress Award for excellence in interactive journalism. *
