Opinion: Imposition of Interational Rules by Imperialism

CUBA, IRAN AND NORTH KOREA ARE DEMONS. The North Koreans launcheda long-range

ballistic missile last week and the ASEAN, the United States, the European countries and allies of the US, are up in arms against it. This is also to put a satellite in space.

What is noticeable about the controversial international issue is that when it comes to countries, practically declared as demons by the US, others will follow suit. There is no analysis, no examination at all of the issues involved here. It is similar to issues about globalization and its three key components, namely deregulation, liberalization and privatization which is wrecking havoc on the world’s economy.

Deregulation allows foreign-owned oil and power companies to increase prices of the commodities at will, commodities which they either control or sell. By imposing privatization on countries around the world, the imperialist states and their allies would be able to control the moves or acts of other countries to industrialize by taking hold of the natural resources available to them and the tools they would use in industrialization.

DICTATION AT WILL. In the case of the development of weapons of war, the imperialist countries led by the United States, for example its allies Europe and Japan in Asia, would want to control especially the development of nuclear weapons because they would not want countries and nations to be independent in making decisions. This is so in the case of Iran, North Korea and Cuba, or Venezuela, for example.

Thus, the US and its key allies would be able to dictate imperialist policies at will. They are using their power to wield the Big Stick and dictate at will upon other countries and nations.

This is the reason why they are able to dictate upon other countries and nations. Israel wants to drop a nuclear bomb on Iran saying so many things and the US seemingly wants to prevent this, but it is what it wants Israel to do. In the case of North Korea, it is preventing that country from developing a long-range delivery systems because if it does, it would all the more become independent in its actions. The US and other countries at present provides food aid for North Korean. But it has suspended the food aid and by doing so, in blackmailing the peoples of that country.

But what is the reality in this issue? The reality is that during the war waged by Japan against the US during the second world war, Korea as a whole was a cool way of Japan. It exploited and oppressed the Korean nation. But it launched a struggle for independence and when one becomes independent it can only become one with its capability to depend.

ATTACK IS REAL. North Korea truly believes it could be attacked by the South with US assistance if they are not able to develop its defense capabilities. So, the development of nuclear weapons by that country is defensive. And is not the US capable of invading other countries? It is more than capable as it did in Vietnam then Iraq, Afghanistan and neo-colonizing other nations including the Philippines. Those are the ways of imperalism.

Tell you me. But, indeed, believe me. The history of the world shows this!*
