Events: Induction of CFARMC Held

Induction of officers of the City Fisheries Aquatic Resources Management Council (CFARMC) was held last Friday, April 20, 2012.

Councilor Carl Lopez, chairman of the Committees on Trade, Commerce & Industries and Agriculture and Fisheries was instrumental in ensuring that the CFARMC would once again be formed and play an active role in supporting the various projects of his committee.

These consist of mangrove planting to livelihood consisting of ornamental fish, artificial reef, payao project and solar fish dryer to ensure that law and order is enforced in the seaside barangays by the formation of Bantay Dagat and the arrival of a patrol boat which was donated by the Bureau of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources (BFAR) through the help of Sen. Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) in the Locale of Tangub and other locales in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, are inviting the public to their ‘Pamamahayag’, during which they will present the teachings and doctrines of the INC. The Pamamahayag will be held at 7PM on Monday January 9 and on Tuesday 10 at the Tangub chapel and in other locale chapels. Those interested to listen can just come and be guests.
