It is envisioned to be a resource hub for ICT-based learning especially for the training and promotion of the use of the electronic health systems.
Smart has partnered with DOH-CHD 6 and the local governments of Iloilo city and province for Project SHINE (Secured Health Information Network and Exchange), the multi-awarded web and mobile health electronic medical record and referral system now being used by health facilities in the city and province.
The inauguration coincided with the anniversary of CHD-6 and the turnover of leadership from Dr. Ariel Valencia who was recently assigned as CARAGA regional director to newly appointed CHD-6 regional director Dr. Susana Madrieta.*
