Tribu RSB (Roberto Salas Benedicto) was adjudged as the undefeated Grand Champion of the just concluded 2012 La Carlota City 33rd Pasalamat Festival 2012 Float and Street Dance Competition held Sunday.

Tribu RSB was adjudged as the Best Performing Group (Over-all Ranking-Best Performing Tribe in Category A. They won a trophy and cash prize of P30,000.00 from Mayor Juliet Marie D. Ferrer. Best in Performing Tribe ( Over-all ranking) in Category B (Elementary Schools) was also won by Tribu RSB. They received a trophy and a cash prize of P 15,000.00. They all received their cash prizes from Mayor Juliet Marie D. Ferrer, while Barangay RSB is headed by Punong Barangay Elmar Aries.

Category A: Best Performing Group (Over-all ranking) lst Runner-up won by Tribu 2. They received a trophy and cash prize of P20,000.00 and 2nd Runner-up won by Tribu 3. They received a trophy and cash prize of P 15,000.00. Each winner received their prizes from Mayor Juliet Marie D. Ferrer. Category B: Best Performing Tribe (Over-all ranking) lst Runner-up won by Tribu Saot to ( La Carlota South Elementary School-II). They received a trophy and a cash prize of P10,000.00. 2nd Runner-up won by Tribu Norte of La Carlota North Elementary School. They received a trophy and a cash prize of P7,000.00. Each winners received their prizes from Mayor Juliet Marie D. Ferrer.

In Rhythm Competition: Category A- Best in Rhythm Group-Champion-Tribu 2. They received a trophy and a cash prize of P10,000.00. lst Runner-up was won by Tribu RSB. They received a trophy and cash prize of P8,000.00. 2nd Runner up was won by Tribu 3. They received a trophy and cash prize of P 6,000.00. Category B: Best in Rhythm Group Champion-Tribu RSB Elementary School. They received a trophy and cash prize of P8,000.00. lst Runner-up was Tribu Norte -La Carlota North Elementary School. They received a trophy and cash prize of P6,000.00.

2nd Runner -up was Tribu Tony of San Miguel Elementary School.

They received a trophy and cash prize of P4,000.00 each of them received prizes from Mayor Juliet Marie D. Ferrer.

The Best in Float: Champion- Tribu Batuan. They received a cash prize of P10,000.00. lst Runner-up- Tribu Tayubo of Barangay Yubo. They received a cash prize of P8,000.00. 2nd Runner-up won by Tribu Caloy of Barangay Ara-al. They received a cash prize of P6,000.00. In Best in Carricature: Champion- Tribu Tayubo of Barangay Yubo. They received a cash prize of P 6,000.00. lst Runner-up was won by Tribu San Miguel. They received a cash prize of P5,000.00. 2nd Runner-up was Tribu Balabag . They received a cash prize of P4,000.00 . They received all their prizes from Mayor Juliet Marie D. Ferrer.

Special Awards: Best in Costume- won by Tribu Tayubo with cash prize of P8,000.00. Best in Arena Dance was Tribu 2 with cash prize of P5,000.00.

Best in Street Dance was Tribu 3 with cash prize of P5,000.00 and Best in Choreography was Tribu 2 with cash prize of P3,000.00.*

Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) in the Locale of Tangub and other locales in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, are inviting the public to their ‘Pamamahayag’, during which they will present the teachings and doctrines of the INC. The Pamamahayag will be held at 7PM on Monday January 9 and on Tuesday 10 at the Tangub chapel and in other locale chapels. Those interested to listen can just come and be guests.
