Events: Santacruzan Set for May 19

The Bacolod Cultural Foundation, Inc. will celebrate Flores de Mayo – the month of flowers – in tribute to the Virgin Mary with the traditional Santacruzan ceremony on May 19, 2012.

The Santacruzan procession will start at 3pm from the Bacolod City Hall and will finish at the Event Center at the North Wing of SM City. It is a popular religious-historical event and is held in Bacolod and many other cities, towns and villages throughout the Philippines every May.

Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) in the Locale of Tangub and other locales in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, are inviting the public to their ‘Pamamahayag’, during which they will present the teachings and doctrines of the INC. The Pamamahayag will be held at 7PM on Monday January 9 and on Tuesday 10 at the Tangub chapel and in other locale chapels. Those interested to listen can just come and be guests.
