With Dr.Johanna R. Bayoneta as College Administrator, are Dr. Elias Alias who was recently appointed Department Head. Program Coordinators for Teacher education Mrs. Felicidad Magno, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) Alex Acuña, and Jeff Abalajon for Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (BSIT) who were retained in their respective posts.
As usual, trending of registration of students in all courses at BCC is undeniably soaring. Major factor is the very cheap cost of education, that Mayor Evelio Leonardia, founder of the College, has vowed not to increase the tuition fee during his administration.
As of this date, the enrollment is over 3,000 for all courses. Registration in the first year is now limited due to inadequate classrooms also, although the expansion of the building at the main campus in Brgy.Taculing has just been finished. Due to the huge student population, BCC has spread the programs in two other campuses: Sum-ag Campus in Brgy.Sum-ag for BSBA and BSIT; Fortune Towne Campus for BSIS and ACT, while TED and some sections of BSOA at the main campus in Brgy. Taculing. BCC is identified for its flag bearer program, the Teacher Education courses, that the passers in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) every year, surpass the national passing percentage.* (EBC)
