Events: CSA-B, UNO-R Have New Father Presidents
Two leading universities in Bacolod have installed their new Father presidents the other day.
Colegio de San Agustin-Bacolod, one of the recognized schools here, installed its 14th President, Rev. Fr. Aparece, OSA. Fr. Aparece served as campus minister at the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City in 2008 to 2011, prior to his reassignment to Bacolod for the same position, before his installation as Father president of CSA-B.

While at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R), Rev. Fr. Emerito Buñao, AOR was also installed the other day as its 15th university president. Prior to his new position, Fr. Buñao was director of scholarship, Prior Provincial of the Recollects in the Philippines, director of San Miguel Corporation (SMC) national, and served two terms as Counselor of the Province of St.Ezequiel Moreno in Quezon City.
Fr.Buñao succeeds Rev. Fr. Dionisio Cachero, AOR, who will be assigned at the Our Lady of Mt.Carmel, a community of Recoletos de Cebu.
Both schools have established land marks in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental having produced graduates who became models of the community.* (Edith B. Colmo)
