Local News: Reds Harass Army Detachment
The Bravo Company of 47th Infantry Brigade, Philippine Army led by lLt Rommel Callejo, whose detachment is situated at Bactolon, Camindangan, Sipalay City, Negros Occi-dental, reported to Lt.Col. Rodrigo Sosmeña, battation commander, that the group of rebels seemed to harass their detachment last night. The enemy according to Capt. Rey Balibagoso positioned at a distant area. Their CASFA legal front organization in Manlocahoc area in Camindangan is already disorganized, Balibagoso said.
On the other hand, initial report from 47th IB, the Civil Military Operation (CMO) Team on their way back to headquarters from a CIVAC operation was reportedly ambushed by rebels early last night.*
