Drunk man who fell off bridge found dead

A drunken man who fell off a bamboo bridge he was crossing Saturday night was found dead 8:00 a.m. Sunday, in Sitio Macasayang, Barangay Mabini, Cadiz City.

Police Chief Inspector Rocky Desear, Cadiz PNP chief identified the victim as Eliseo Parreño, 35, married, of Sitio Sangay, also in the barangay.

Village Chief Roseville Villarin of Barangay Mabini said the victim had a companion, his brother-in-law, identified as JR Armeda, 21, single.

Teacher found dead

A teacher of General Lacson Elementary School located in Barangay Burgos, Cadiz City was found dead yesterday morning along a secluded area of Pueblo Sta. Maria, Sitio Punong Ko, Barangay Daga, Cadiz.

Pueblo Sta. Maria is a subdivision owned by former Provincial Board Member “Bomber” Zayco’s wife, who is related to Lopez family. It is located just a few meters from Crossing Cadiz.

Police Chief Inspector Rocky Desear, Cadiz OIC chief identified the victim as Eric Geronga, 37, married, resident of the place. He taught Grade 3.


SOLAR FIRM DONATES AMBULANCE. Executives of Helios Solar Energy Corp. led by its Operations Manager, Jamie Wenceslao donated a unit of ambulance complete with accessories, to the Provincial Government, for use of Cadiz District Hospital in Cadiz City.
