P100K Shabu, Firearm Seized in San Carlos
A resident of Barangay Rizal in San Carlos City was arrested with shabu worth P100,000 and a firearm Wednesday night at Phase 44, Block 9 in Fatima Village in Barangay Rizal.
Superintendent Arturo Fullero, OIC-chief of San Carlos PoliceOffice, together with opratives of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office Drug Enforcement Unit led by Senior Inspector Ryan Villasario, arrested Charles Ian Abordo Alquizalas, 33, single and resident of the place in a drug buy bust operation.
Seized from Alquizalas was a heat-sealed sachet of shabu; two big sachets and two medium heat-sealed sachets and other drug paraphernalias.
Police poseur-buyer used a P300 marked money in the buy bust.
He also yielded one .22 caliber revolver without Serial Number and seven live bullets, and a Cherry mobile cell phone and P800 cash proceeds.
The suspect is detained at San Carlos PNP lock up cell and charged for violating RA 10591 and RA 9165.*(Cyrus Garde)
