Twice she was arrested and jailed by police authorities after she took motorcycles she did not own in Duma-guete City in Negros Oriental.

The suspect was arrested again around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday by Highway Patrol Group of Dumaguete City.

Owner of the motorcycle is Roque Catubig of Dumaguete City.

Police identified the suspect as Gizle Gemira Cabangisan, of legal age, resident of Barangay 9, Tanjay City, Negros Oriental.

On October 10–12, 2017 the Diocese of Bacolod will have its Second Diocesan Pastoral Assembly (DPA II) as prescribed by the decrees of the Second Diocesan Synod.

The current Pastoral Assembly seeks to articulate the Diocesan Vision and Mission Statements with its corresponding goals and objectives in the form of a Strategic Plan. Bishop Patricio A. Buzon considers this Strategic Plan as a roadmap for the Diocese to follow for the next five years.

Three drug suspects were arrested by police in Barangay Manipis, Tanjay City, Negros Oriental around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Police Superintendent Frankie Lugo, Tanjay City PNP OIC police chief identified the suspects as Kevin Roy Into Miraflor, 24, single; Mark Sta. Cruz Aguilar, 23, single and Gerald Sedinio Miraflor, 19, single, all of Barangay Manipis, Tanjay City.

The operation was conducted by Tanjay City PNP in coordination with PDEA.

A resident of Hacienda Danao in Barangay Haguimit, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental was found hanging inside their house around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police Superintendent Cresenciano Cordero, La Carlota City police chief identified the victim as Eric Guadalupe Ortega, 33, married.

The victim was found by his wife lifeless hanging on the roof frame with a rope on his neck.

A resident of Victorias City was killed when he crossed the national highway at Barangay 21, Victorias City around 7:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Police Superintendent Herman Garbosa, Victorias City PNP chief identified the victim as Joebert Aragona Rivera, 48, of Barangay 21, Victorias City.

The victim was bumped by a speeding Rusi motorcycle driven by Leobert D. Baco of Sitio Takas, Barangay Tuburan, EB Magalona, Negros Occidental.

The victim was rushed to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

The dead body of a trisikad driver was found at Menlo IV in Barangay Zone 12-A, Talisay City around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Superintendent Adonis Rosales, Talisay City PNP chief identified the victim as Romeo Ginanda Isog, 37, single, of Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City and temporary residing at Menlo IV, Barangay Zone 12-A.

The victim was found by Arsenio Binahiba Jianson, 52, single, of Barangay Zone 12, Talisay City lying in a nipa hut with a bottle of whisky beside him.

The victim’s body was brought to Manapla Funeral Parlor in Silay City for autopsy.*
