A man was found dead at the Hinigaran town public plaza at about 1:42 in the morning yesterday.
Hinigaran PNP identified the victim as Jose Vargas Velasco lll, 26, single and resident of Hacienda Manocao B in Barangay Bato, Hinigaran.
He sustained a stab wound on his left chest and was brought to Hinigaran emergency clinic where he was declared dead on-arrival by Dr. Jansen Vargas.
Barangay Tanod Aladin Quiatchon who was on duty at that time informed Hinigaran PNP.
Two dead bodies were found in Pontevedra town in and in Silay City Thursday and Sunday.
In Pontevedra, policemen identified the victim as Jose Capasilan Sanchez, 75, widow and resident of Sitio Bungyod in Hacienda Monserat in Barangay San Juan in the town.
He was found dead about 3:30 in the afternoon Friday inside his house and was already in a state of decomposition, by John Mark Castillo Durdas , 21, single and Jeffry Baladhay , “alias Koykoy, both residents of the place.
A rape suspect was arrested by Ilog policemen and Philippine Army soldiers in Barangay Pingot, a hinterland barangay of Ilog town Saturday.
Police chief Inspector Nerito Lobrido, Ilog PNP chief identified the suspect as Rodney Castillo Omboy, 32, single “Alias Choy and Bryan” of Barangay Pingot.
The policemen were assisted by the elements of the 12th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army led by SSgt. Villasis.

Cabuga’s complaints are for violations of Article 315 (Estafa) and Batas Pambansa Bilang 22 (Bouncing Check Law).
