The Technical Education and Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) and the Filipino Mirror Media Group (FMMG) have signed an agreement which aims at disseminating information to the public on the government agency’s various programs.
The MOA was signed by TESDA Secretary Guiling “Gene” A. Mamondiong and Marvin N. Estigoy, VP Advertising Sales of FMMGC. It was witnessed by Alvin S. Feliciano, TESDA deputy director general and Jocelyn L. Siddayao, general manager of FMMGC.

Bacolaodiat Festival organizers are inviting all interested singers from Chinese and non-Chinese schools to join the Bacolaodiat Singing Master “A Chinese Language Singing Contest” set February 18, Sunday, at 2 p.m.
Singers from Chinese schools must be enrolled students from Grade 1 to 6 and are allowed to send two participants each Geade. They are to submit a copy of the minus-one, together with the lyrics in both Chinese Characters and Pinyin, to the Bacolaodiat Office on or before February 10 for compilation.

San Carlos City’s nearby municipalities such as Calatrava and Toboso recently inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the city government allowing them to use the city’s sanitary landfill for dumping residual wastes.
San Carlos City Gerardo Valmayor Jr. led the signing with Calatrava Mayor Araceli Somosa and Toboso Mayor Richard Jaojoco.
According to Mayor Somosa, Calatrava sealed a contract with San Carlos since the municipality is still in the process of purchasing the lot for its waste disposal site.
Two persons were killed when a gunfight took place between two families in Sitio Baras Diutay in Barangay Bantayan, Kabankalan City Saturday afternoon.
Barangay Captain Oscar Abajon told RMN DYHB Bacolod news team, that those who got killed in the shootout were Yoyen Lutas and his 60-year-old uncle Efren Lutas.
