An ex-convict was arrested in a drug bust by police operatives in Barangay Piapi, Dumaguete City around 2:50 p.m., Wednesday, February 7.
Joint elements of Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Provincial Intelligence Bureau-Special Operation Group, Dumaguete City Police Office and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested Carlito Duran, 40, an ex-convict and resident of said place.

A motorcycle-riding man was pinned by two motorcycles going north of Bindoy town along Barangay Poblacion of the national highway around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
As a result, Rey Torres Vailoces, 39, married, of Barangay Domolog in Bindoy town, Negros Oriental was hit on his right leg and rushed to Bindoy District Hospital.
