TMC Season 4: Collantes Nails Title in November Finale

After a cliffhanger semi-final round, second seed Francisco “Paco” Collantes nailed the November title in the Tenpin Masters Challenge (TMC) Season Four Shoot-Out Finale at Lopue’s East Bowling Center in Villamonte, Bacolod City.

Paco Collantes defeated OJ Lopue, 211-188, in the championship shoot-out. The senior bowler has 18 pins handicap each game, an average of 201.

For the 2nd runner-up match, Boyet Bullos won over Raymund Livioco by 19 pins, 192-173.

In the crossover semi-finals, both pairings of top seed Bullos vs 4th seed OJ Lopue and 2nd seed Collantes vs 3rd seed Livioco were tied after ten frames 209 and 182 apiece. Two extra frames were rolled where Lopue and Collantes came out the victors.

Completing the players in the top 15 Masters: Paul Pacis, Russel Lo, Richel Gumban, Joemil Villarosa, Virgilio Arcolas, Jasper Quimanhan, Herman Santos, Gildo Ang, Helson Rosales, Hector Jamiana, and Toto Ong.

Collantes join the elite of tenpinners this season including Dr Larnie Vencer, Dwight Somcio, Quimanhan, and Jun Pamatian.

Meanwhile, the Monthly Hilit-Hilit King of the Lanes winner for November was Lito Masculino. He outscored top qualifier Reymund Severino in the final match after leading his rivals in the semi-finals by at least 1 pin.

Other kings of the lanes are Livioco, Albert Solidarius, and Pamatian.

There will be no monthly TMC and Hilit-hilit King of the Lanes games for this month but the Last Hurrah for December is set on Tuesday, Dec. 19 with a 5-game series.
