Bulak-Batyag Art Exhibit Set

The Feminine Touch and Babayi Artists will be holding an all female art exhibit at Café Bob’s, Lacson St. , Bacolod City from February 13 to 28, 2010. Opening ceremony starts 3 p.m., February 13 with guests of honor Soraya Jaafar Golez and Col. Max Caro, 303rd Infantry Brigade Commander of the Philippine Army. Dubbed as Bulak-Batyag, the art exhibit is inline with AAB- Negros 2nd Arte Kalye Festival’s theme, "Art for Earth".

Bulak is flower representing women and nature’s beauty and productivity; restoration of what is natural, promoting the restoration of earth’s ecology and nature.

Batyag is how we feel about the present ecological condition and how we sense the future would be in its ecological state.

The exhibit is for the benefit of the Children’s Feeding Program of the Philippine Army.*
