DBTI, USLS-A, WNU Lead NOPSS-CEA 10-U & Aspirant Football

Don Bosco Technical Institute (DBTI, University of St. La Salle-A and West Negros University (WNU) still remain unbeaten in the ongoing Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) 10-Under and Aspirant Football tournament.

The Victorias City-based Don Bosco Technical Institute has registered three straight wins in the 10-Under category, while USLS-A and WNU have two each in the Aspirants.

These three teams are highly favored to advance to the championship in their respective divisions on February 20, 2010 at University of St. La Salle pitch with two more playing weekends remaining. Six teams in each division joined the tournament. After DBTI, University of St. La Salle-Integrated School follows with 2 wins and a loss; St. John’s Institute with 1 win and a loss; Don Bosco Technical Institute-B and University of Negros Occidental-B had identical 1-2 win-loss cards and University of Negros Occidental-A had three losses in 10-Under category.

In the Aspirant, WNU and USLS-A were followed by Don Bosco A with 2-1 cards; Don Bosco Technical Institute-B had 1-1 win-loss card; University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (1-2) and USLS with three straight loses.*
