‘Order to Import Sugar Issued by Palace’

The government has given the go-signal to government agencies and private traders to import sugar, both to stabilize supply and prices of the commodity, as well as to provide a buffer stock by next crop-year when production is expected to decline due to the effects of climate change from the dreaded global warming phenomenon which has already taken its toll on rice and corn crops in several areas of different provinces.
30K Worth of Facility Lost at Brgy. Hall
An estimated P30,000 worth of computer set was believed to be stolen by unidentified suspects inside Brgy. 2 Hall in Purok Cagaycay, Saturday morning.
Deormy Rivas, 19, and Sangguniang Kabataan chair told police probers that they discovered the village hall being forcibly entered by muggers who took the barangay’s Acer flat-screen monitor, Central Processing Unit (CPU), keyboard, speaker system and power supply unit, among others.
