Drunk stabs dead companion
A drunk stabbed dead his companion in Sitio Alambre II, Barangay Tuguis, Hinigaran town around 6:45 p.m. on February 3, 2018.
Police Senior Inspector Jake Barilla, Hinigaran PNP chief identified the victim as Dionito Elecanal Pabalinas, 60, widower, of Sitio Alambre II, Barangay Tuguis.
He sustained multiple stab wounds in the different parts of his body and was rushed to Hinigaran Medical Clinic, but was declared dead on arrival by Dr. Janssen Vergara.
The suspect was identified as JR Dalmacio, of legal age, also resident of the said place, who immediately fled from the crime scene being hunted by police operatives.
A witness, Mr. Jun Piojo said that the two went to his store along with one identified as Bryan Vergara, 18, but he refused to let them purchase as they were already drunk.
The victim and the suspect along with another friend went back to the suspect’s house to continue drinking.
Suddenly, the suspect and the victim had a misunderstanding after the victim poured the Batchoy they were eating which angered the suspect. The suspect punched and kicked the the victim on the head.
The suspect also tried to stab the victim but was pacified by a witness. But since the suspect is bigger, he asked help and went back to the crime scene with his uncle and found the body lying unconscious on the ground.*
