Some 95 people from the store’s company personnel and clients availed of the free blood-typing while 45 signed up the Blood 4+ Life Registry Program as potential blood donors on November 18 as we celebrate the 2018 World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Crash Victims. The group also gave out printed checklist of requirements for potential donors to help them become qualified donors and road safety reminders stickers from Dr. May Ann Sta. Lucia of the DOH Region 6–Violence and Injury Prevention Alliance Department.

The Volunteer MedTechs from PAMET Negros Occ. Chapter - Ma. Therese Garsuta, Allan Benjamin, Lucila Meneses, Lucita Ladines, and Ma. Sylvia Azurin together with May Altarejos-Cueva of Project Cares - conducted the free blood-typing and are enjoining the public to help by registering and promoting this the Blood 4+ Life Registry Program and importantly, to pledge to donate blood by November 18. The program only requires the potential blood donors to simply register their blood type and contact details to the PAMET data bank which may be used as reference by our blood banks, organizations organizing blood-letting activities, and especially for emergency situations like a road traffic crash victim needing blood for transfusion.
