Selected SSS branches extended office hours and open on Saturdays
Selected Social Security System (SSS) branches under the Visayas West 1 Division, which includes the provinces of Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental, have extended office hours during weekdays, from 5 pm to 7 pm, and are open on Saturdays for the whole month of February.
SSS Bacolod Lacson and Dumaguete have extended the office hours of its cashiering and Member Services Section (MSS) to accommodate paying members and employers in connection with the implementation of Real Time Processing of Contribution (RTPC) system.
Meanwhile, SSS Bago, Bais, Sagay and Victorias are open on Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm to ensure that members and employers will be able to pay their contributions.
Aside from acceptance of contribution payments, these branches have also designated employees to assist individually-paying members and employers in registering with My.SSS.
Implemented on January 16, 2018, the RTPC allow the immediate validation, transmission and acknowledgement of SSS contribution data between the payment facility and the SSS system, and subsequently, the posting to members’ contribution records. All employers including household employers and individually-paying members such as voluntary members, self-employed, non-working spouse and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) must register with the My.SSS facility in the SSS website (sss.gov.ph) for the issuance of Payment Reference Number (PRN) which they will use in paying SSS contributions.*
