Guv calls for unity, cooperation
Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. urged Provincial Capitol employees to continue to work together and calls for cooperation to make the province more progressive.

He also thanked the Capitol employees for their collective efforts and services that contributed to the betterment of the province.
“Let us continue to work together and unite as one as we start the year running”, said Gov. Marañon.
The Governor also plans to implement more programs under his development agenda coined in NEGROS FIRST and hopes to institutionalize them so that the said programs will continue to be implemented after his term.
Among his priorities are to improve hospital operations, expand scholarship programs to students and children of provincial government employees and provide livelihood opportunities for the poor and marginalized members of the community.
According to him, Negros Occidental is one of the most progressive provinces in the country and more investors, companies and opportunities are coming in with countries like Japan and Northern Territory, Australia.
