Yuan Thong Temple joins Bacolaodiat Festival 2018
Yuan Thong Temple invites guests to visit the Temple at Burgos Extension and witness “A Family Legacy of Loyalty and Honor”—its version of Chinese New Year celebration on February 15 as part of the Bacolaodiat Festival 2018.
There will be a series of activities lined up as the temple opens its doors to the public at 6 p.m., followed by Chinese Cultural Show at 8:30 p.m.; Lion, Dragon, and Lantern dances at 9:30 p.m.; Light Offering Prayer at 10:30 p.m.; and the Hitting of the Bell at 12 midnight as part of the Chinese tradition in welcoming the New Year.
Attractions like wishing tree, photo booth, lighted dog family display, wishing pond, and food kiosks will also be available.
The temple will also be open on February 16 to 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for those who want to offer prayers or simply visit the temple.
