Leonardia officiates at mass wedding
Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia officiated the mass wedding of 23 couples from various barangays of Bacolod, at the Atrium of SM City Bacolod, Jan. 16.

The wedding was organized and sponsored by Wedding and Event Planners Organization of Negros, Inc. (WEPON) and facilitated by the Civil Registrar Office.
“Ang pag-sinalayo sang mag-asawa maayo, kag maayo ang paghamtang sa ila pamilya, kay if we have strong families, we will have a strong society,” Leonardia said.
Humberto Ticar, 57, and Rosalinda De la Cruz, 59, was the oldest couple.
Pastor Junar Arroyo solemnized the wedding.
Civil Registrar Hermilo Pa-oyon and WEPON President Ellen Lindaya stood as witnesses.
