BFP–Negros Occ. calls on Gov. Marañon

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)–Negros Occidental headed by Provincial Fire Marshal, Supt. Rodolfo Denaga together with the fire chiefs of the cities and municipalities of the province, paid a courtesy visit to Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. at the Capitol, Thursday, as part of their annual new year’s call.

The activity reaffirms the BFP officers’ commitment to public service for the year 2018; they also expressed gratitude to the support extended by the provincial government to the BFP. Gov. Marañon urged them to unite and cooperate with each other and to be more vigilant in times of emergency and fire incidents.

He also said that with the personnel’s salary increase, he hopes that they are going to provide better services to the public.

He added that the provincial government will continue to support the programs and projects of the BFP.*(Capitol News)
