Lone District of Bacolod Rep. Monico Puentevella has reiterated his warning to Bacolod City officials lead by Mayor Evelio Leonardia that the release by Philippine Veterans Bank (PVB) of its P250 million loan in tranches will naturally backlash on them this May 10 elections, calling it "Karma" (curse).

Hospital Admin Chief Demands Payment After His CSC Reinstatement

Reinstated regional hospital Chief Administrator, Bryan Baylon, through his legal counsels, have asked the authorities of the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) to pay him his back salaries and whatever accrued benefits including his regular allowances, in compliance with the order of the Civil Service Commission (CSC), reinstating him to his position after his suspension from office which he deemed was part of a personal vendetta for his whistle blowing activities in exposing alleged irregularities in the running of the medical facility.
