After checking the topography of Central Negros and portion of Negros Oriental during his first aerial survey, Police Senior Superintendent Manuel Felix, provincial director of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office made another inspection of his area of responsibility last Sunday.

Together with Police Inspector Robert Dejucos of the NOPPO Investigation Branch and Police Chief Inspector Edel Jose Manzano, representing Police Superintendent Remus Zacharias Canieso, group director of the 6th Regional Mobile Group based in Victorias City, the NOPPO director made an aerial check of Northern Negros particularly on the terrain and location of friendly forces.

Earlier, PSSupt Felix also conducted inspection of the police stations of Valladolid and San Enrique and at the same time condoled with the family of slain Special Action Force trooper Police Officer 1 Federito Armateo in Barangay Ayungon who was buried last Saturday.

The NOPPO director, now on his first 100 days in the province as the head of the 1,500-strong Philippine National Police servicing Negros Occidental likewise extended his birthday greetings to Governor Isidro Zayco in behalf of the officers and men of NOPPO during a pre-birthday celebration held at the Social Hall of the Provincial capitol last week.* (NOPPO PIO)
