Ombudsman Launches O-Plan Red Plate Project
The Ombudsman Visayas has launched “O-Plan Red Plate” campaign, an Inter-Agency Task Force in cooperation with partner agencies, namely, the Commission on Audit (COA) Civil Service Commission (CSC) Land Transportation Office (LTO), Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Information Agency (PIA). The Task Force is designed to monitor the use of government vehicles to ensure that these are being used prudently, judiciously and efficiently, so as not to cause wastage in government resources.more>>

City Council Moves to Freeze Tuition Fee Hike
The city council of Iloilo is unanimous in its decision to pass Resolution 2009-283 by “appealing and imperatively requesting all private schools in this city to freeze tuition fee hike in the midst of the current economic condition and the intensifying global crisis.”more>>
