SSBAFI holds appreciation dinner

By Angelie Yulo-Millan

For five years now, St. Scholastica's Bacolod Alumnae Foundation, Inc.(SSBAFI) has been very busy with its various community projects in the different areas of Negros Occidental. These include Health program, Training & Development program, Education and more. These programs, however, wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for the support of the foundations' generous benefactors from here and abroad.

And so, last September 13, 2008, SSBAFI members from the different St. Scholastica’s Academy alumnae batches gathered together for an appreciation dinner to thank their generous supporters. Over a sumptuous dinner specially prepared by Sugarland Hotel's premier chef, Pancho Bringas, the foundation's president, Pilar Mendezona, narrated the accomplishments of SSBAFI.

After dinner, Pilar Mendezona and SSBAFI's prime mover, Jean Trebol, handed the plaques of appreciation to their many supporters led by Mr. Andrew Keuls, Neg. Occ. Province represented by Gov. Isidro Zayco, Cong. Jeffrey Ferrer, Mr. William Chua, Mr. Tony Trebol, Ms. Ging Consing, Ms. Ginnette Y. Dumancas, RD Foundation, Lauraday Trust, KDFI, AALCPI, Phil. Directories, Aloha Medical Mission, and Smile Train among many others. The dinner was capped by a touching number from the Foundation's beneficiaries with SSBAFI Trustee, Chole Cuenca- Chua.
