The MassKara Fever is Felt Around the World MassKara in Dubai
Last October 14, 2017, the Filipino community, particularly the Bacolodnons, celebrated the first “MassKara in Dubai” last October 14, 2017 at Max’s Restaurant Middle East - Karama Branch.

It was a night of fun and laughter, characterized by dancing, singing, and a mask-making contest.
No less than Consul General of the Philippines in the United Arab Emirates, Hon. Paul Raymund Cortez and wife Yasmin Balajadia-Cortes, graced the celebration, which was spearheaded by Engr. Tata Dayot, chairperson of the FilClub - Dubai and Northern Emirates, and vice-chairman Ericson Reyes.
The concept was inspired by the previous Kadayawan Festival in Dubai organized by Ms. Jasmin Lea Matiga of “Davaoenos UAE”. Max’s restaurant then decided to host the first MassKara Festival in Dubai as part of their Visayan Food festival.
As a tribute to one of the most colorful regions in the Philippines, the Visayas, the restaurant offered a “limited time menu” of the best of Visayan cuisine, bannered by the Bacolod Chicken Inasal served at all Max’s Restaurant branches in the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait.
