Ceres Bus Robbed
Three unidentified suspects robbed the passengers of Ceres Bus Liner with body number 5169 around 7:40 p.m. Sunday along the national highway of Bangga Ibus, Barangay Tortosa, Manapla town, Negros Occidental.
The fare collector, identified as Narvin Ejara Tapang, 21, single, of Toboso town lost P2, 000 collection and P500 personal money to the suspects who pointed him a gun and bladed weapon.
The passengers were identified as; Jason Tan Baya, 21, married, resident of Barangay 2-A, Manapla who lost P4,300.00 and BDO ATM card; Dismond Amparo Magillano, 19, single, of Barangay 1, Manapla town who lost one (1) Samsung cellphone worth P5,000.00 and one (1) black bag worth P700.00; Chrishell Mae Britos Mahinay, 20, single, of Barangay Punta Salong, also of Manapla, lost two (2) cellphones (Samsung Dous/Flare Android) worth P10,000.00, pocket wifi, red bag and money worth P500.00; Kevin Lumayno who lost one (1) MyPhone cellphone worth P500.00 and Jhonvie Gallela Gallon, 26, single, of Barangay Tiglawigan, Cadiz City who lost his SSS ID and Voter’s ID.
The suspects alighted and fled to unknown direction.
The Ceres bus was driven by Glecerio Quimpan Gao, Jr., 48, married, of Barangay Salamanca, Toboso town . The bus was from Bacolod City on the way to Escalante City.
Two of the three suspects have firearms and boarded the bus in Silay City.*
