Bacolod marks World AIDS Day
The Bacolod city government, spearheaded by the City Health Office (CHO), joined the rest of the globe in marking the World AIDS Day, Dec. 1, with its theme, “Right to Health.”

The CHO, in partnership with the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists (PAMET), Philippine Red Cross, Bacolod Local AIDS Council, Bana-ag LGBT, Philippine Ports Authority Crossbreeds Plus, and Offices of Councilors Em Ang and Cindy Rojas, conducted awareness campaign, and free HIV testing and counseling at the Bacolod City Government Center lobby in the morning and later at the Bacolod Public Plaza.
During the program, an HIV-infected person shared his testimony.
