Latter Day Saints’ to celebrate 2017 National Family Week
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons), Binalbagan Stake located at Crossing Sumakwel in Barangay San Jose, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental will observe the 2017 National Family Week on September 30, 2017.
Invited Guests in last year’s activity.
This year’s theme: Tungo sa Maginhawa, Matatag at Panatag na Pamilyang Pilipino.
The celebration will give importance and focus on how to strengthen individual and family through Self Reliance, Education and having harmonious family relationship.
The Church will have a one day activity in observance of this occasion. There will be a parade to start at 8am followed by Program proper.
Bro. Erwin Boiser of the Perpetual Educational Fund and Self Reliant Coordinator of the CJCLDS is the guest speaker of the said occasion.
Fifth District Congressman of Negros Occidental Alejandro Mirasol; Binalbagan Mayor Emmanuel Aranda; Sangguniang Bayan member Gaudencio Baja; Municipal Department of Education consultant Luningning Reyes; Local Disaster Risk Rescue Management Office and Tourism personnel are the local public officials invited.
Other invited guests are Municipal Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) head, Janet Trasporto; Carlos Hilado Memorial State College Aquiles Dejalde, Ph.D.-Education; Church of the Nazarene Pastora Asa Deocampo and San Jose Punong Barangay -Renato C. Morales.
Invited to participate in games are selected Senior Citizens and benefactors of 4P’s along with Church members to highlight the event with the activity to end at 2:00 in the afternoon.*
